Block House is a 10 minute walk from Waterfront station, connecting to both the Canada Line and Expo Lines, plus Seabus to North Vancouver.

Every apartment includes complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, locally-sourced kitchen and bath amenities, contactless check-in, and shared on-site laundry. Our loft apartments include a fully-equipped kitchen with premium appliances, while studios feature a wet bar. Guests also enjoy access to a curated neighbourhood guide.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Block House check-in is 4pm and check out is 11am. We’re happy to accommodate requests for early check-in or late check-out based on availability; additional fees apply.
Does Block House offer contactless or self check-in?
Yes, Block House offers a fully contactless, digital check-in experience. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a link to complete a quick security check and access to your personal digital guest portal, which includes everything you need for your stay: details about your suite, curated neighborhood guides, and direct messaging with our host team.
Your digital key code becomes available 24 hours before check-in, allowing seamless access to your suite so you can come and go as you please – no physical key required! It’s all designed to make your stay seamless and hassle-free.
What do you mean by tech powered stay?
Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you a link to complete a quick security check. After that, you’ll get access to your personal digital guest portal. This portal includes everything you need for your stay: details about your suite, curated neighborhood guides, and a messaging feature to connect with our host team anytime.
24 hours before check-in, your digital key code will appear in the portal, allowing you to access your suite at check-in time and come and go as you please – no keycards required.
Is Block House pet-friendly?
Yes, Block House is a pet-friendly hotel. Pet-friendly stays can be added to our loft apartments for $50 per night plus applicable taxes. This can be confirmed when making your reservation online or by contacting us block@kalidohotels.com in advance of your arrival.
What if I require assistance during my stay?
Our digital guest portal includes a detailed FAQ guide to your apartment and the neighbourhood, plus direct support with our host team through the chat feature. Whether you need help with your apartment or recommendations from a local – we’re just a click away.
Does Block House have parking onsite?
Yes, secure onsite self-parking is available at Block House for $30 per night plus applicable taxes. Parking can be added during booking or arranged by contacting us in advance of your arrival.

What is Block House’s cancellation policy?
Most direct bookings come with a 48-hour cancellation policy, though terms may vary by rate plan. Cancellation windows do not apply to non-refundable rates.

Is Block House suitable for long-term stays in Vancouver?
Yes, Block House is ideal for long-term and extended stays, offering spacious loft-style apartments, on-site laundry, full kitchens, housekeeping, and flexible booking terms.

Yes! The longer you stay, the better the rate. Our best rates are available right here on our website, and discounts for extended stays are automatically applied based on your selected dates – no promo code needed.

Do I need to pay utilities?
No, all stays include utilities, cable and WiFi. Stays longer than 30 nights are also tax exempt.
